Wow, exactly what Estevan has needed for 20 years! I am so excited to be back, sitting wasting time…while I’m here visiting family in the area. We actually made a point to come in from Bienfait. The selection of fresh roasted coffee beans, teas and my personal favourite Italian soda. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The baking is as good it gets. The team there puts a lot of effort into baking buns and giant cookies, muffins, breakfast sandwich etc the menu list goes on and on. Hard to believe a little place like this has such big fantastic energy. The staff is super and so friendly. They work fast and hard with big smiles and that joy makes my day. I may be sitting here wasting time… it is definitely not a waste of time! Whether you live in the city or you are a traveling, it is worth finding Michael’s coffee shop and bakery. Michael’s is right across the street from a major shopping centre and many stores in the same strip mall as well. Easy access and a lot of parking to be found too. The washrooms are family friendly and wheelchair accessible. Ask about their open mic night, singing and poetry! The top of the list is the atmosphere and they naturally keep vibes high with the friendly staff. Thank you Micheal’s and thank you to the lady’s that served us today as well. A True Gem: Michael's Coffee Shop and Bakery in Estevan. If you're looking for an amazing coffee shop that offers more than just great coffee, Michael's Coffee Shop and Bakery in Estevan is the place to go. This spot is an absolute gem, housed in a fabulous old brick building that gives it a wonderful, relaxed, and inviting atmosphere—far surpassing any chain coffee joint. The food is truly outstanding. We were treated to their fresh-baked cinnamon buns, which were absolutely divine. The sandwiches, made on homemade, light, and fluffy cheese buns, are a must-try. I had the pork loin sandwich with sweet onion, apple, and BBQ sauce, and it was so delicious. While we didn't try any of the drinks on this visit, I have no doubt they are just as great as the food. Michael's feels like a classic bakery and cafe rolled into one, and it's clear that the quality and care put into every item are exceptional. Estevan truly has a treasure in this coffee shop and bakery. It's the perfect spot for a delicious light meal, a sweet treat, or just a relaxing break.

We found this little gem while looking for alternatives to Tim Hortons during our pass through Estevan. My latte was excellent. The inside is beautifully decorated and you can see where they roast their beans and bake their goods. I don't go through Estevan very often but I'm going to make a point of stopping here again next time I do.

Highly recommend. Delicious cinnamon buns, brought back great memories of my Mom’s baking. We plan on enjoying a few more before we leave town. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Michael. We will be making sure to stop in at a few of your other shops as we travel through Saskatchewan. Wishing you much success!

Awesome local cafe. Phenomenal sandwiches and cinnamon buns! Take a break from the chains and support this business. I’m from Calgary watching Junior hockey. So happy I found this cafe.

went there Friday and Saturday (both times I had the same workers). workers were absolutely amazing!!! I have always worked customer service so I can be a little critical sometimes but these women were amazing! They worked as a team amazingly, they managed customers and their timings perfectly. everyone got their food/drinks very fast and the workers always had a smile on their faces when serving. 100/10
